A new opportunity to approach European projects: the Accompaniment Desk of Fondazione CRC
The Accompaniment Desk: a new tool to support European projects
A new initiative to support the implementation of European projects was officially launched on July 1, the Accompaniment Desk of Fondazione CRC, a longtime partner of our Guide.
The Accompaniment Desk supports public and private nonprofits operating in the province of Cuneo in submitting project proposals to national, regional and European calls for proposals. With this, it aims to help turn into reality projects that go beyond the funding scale of the Foundation itself and that are able to enrich the local organisations in terms of resources, new ideas and solutions.
The Accompaniment Desk was launched on July 1 in a webinar that presented its objectives, services offered and how it works. Together with the Guide to EU Projects and Funding and other more specific measures, it is an integral part of a set of tools fielded by Fondazione CRC to support planning in its local organisations.
Let’s find out together: whether you operate in the province of Cuneo or want to develop a project with a Cuneo partner, it can be a turning point to successfully approach a European call for proposals.
What the Accompaniment Desk offers: all-around support
The Desk is open to anyone who needs concrete support to turn their idea into a (most possible!) successful European project.
Developed in collaboration with InEuropa‘s team of specialized consultants, the desk takes a “tailor-made” and “on-demand” approach that covers all three typical phases of project development:
- Information and orientation, to learn about the opportunities available on regional, national and European calls for proposals. A service dedicated in particular to organizations taking their first steps in European projects and needing to develop awareness and define their own direction with respect to the projects best suited to their structure and needs. The Desk provides initial information and proposes targeted information materials, in a complementary way to what our Guide does in a more general and transversal way (e.g., through the calls portal, dedicated sections and other in-depth studies, such as this one and this one);
- Analysis of the project proposal and pre-feasibility study: for entities that have already developed an initial project idea and need to assess its potential and feasibility, the type of call for proposals that is best suited to develop it, the existence of similar projects already funded or partners committed to the same issues. In this case, in addition to contacting the Desk, a brief project idea survey form, which can be downloaded from the Foundation’s website, is also filled out, allowing the professionals at the Desk to get a feel for the situation and provide guidance tailored to the organization’s needs. In general, regardless of the request for support, this form can be an excellent tool to get a clear idea of one’s project idea through a few key-questions;
- Design, accompaniment and co-financing of the project idea: in cases where the project idea is already sufficiently mature for a specific European call for proposals, the Desk provides all-round accompaniment in the application process: support in defining and revising the project content, building the partnership, drafting the budget and finalizing the proposal.
In this way each entity, even with a different degree of maturity of the project idea, can obtain advice and accompaniment that will enable it to progressively approach the implementation of European projects.
How to access: the Accompaniment Desk and other Measures
The Desk is always active until June 30, 2026.
It is accessed by sending an e-mail to sportello@fondazionecrc.it. Within a few days you receive a response and are contacted to define the next steps. In case the request for support concerns a specific project idea, the appropriate form should be attached.
All public or private nonprofit entities with legal or operational headquarters in the province of Cuneo, interested in developing a project as a lead or partner, are eligible for access to the Desk.
It is important to mention that in addition to the Accompaniment Desk, Fondazione CRC offers two other tools that enable nonprofits to obtain resources to submit projects in response to European calls for proposals. These are two other Over-the-Counter Measures, which are open until the available resources are exhausted:
- La Design Measure, to cover expenses related to project writing (writing, travel for partnership building, translations). The Foundation co-finances 80 percent of the total eligible design costs, up to a maximum of 8,000 euros in the case of the applicant being a lead partner, 4,000 euros in the case of the applicant being a project partner;
- The Co-financing measure, to cover part of the mandatory co-financing required by many national and European public calls for proposals. The contribution varies depending on the characteristics, needs and size of the project, is between 20,000 and 50,000 euros and is conditional on the award of the call, national or European.
Both Measures are open until December 31, 2025 (unless available resources are exhausted), do not apply to projects already submitted, and are intended for organizations based in the province of Cuneo.
So what are you waiting for?L
o Desk is a great encouragement from CRC Foundation not to be afraid to “jump in” to European projects.
If you are an organization interested in European projects in the province of Cuneo, or you intend to implement a project in partnership with an organization in this local organisations, this is an excellent opportunity to get concrete support and turn your idea into reality.
No matter where you are at: the Accompaniment Desk, with its tailored support even for entities with little or no experience, can help you make “the leap.”
For our part, we will continue in the coming months to inform you about other initiatives that, like this one, help local organisations move closer to Europe in a very pragmatic way.
