There are a total of 79 calls for proposals in this latest summer review.
August was a “quiet” month: there is not much news in European programs, although the publication of new “cascading” calls from the Digital Europe program continues, and there are some interesting news regarding Territorial Cooperation and Structural Funds.
European programs
- Digital Europe: 9 new calls in education and research in several areas, including Artificial Intelligence, High Performance Computing (HPC) and Cybersecurity;
- Erasmus+: 1 multiple call for accreditation of higher education institutions.
European Calls for Proposals 2025: Structural Funds
We have 62 new calls in:
- Abruzzo (1), on vocational education and training;
- Basilicata (7), on business training and incentives, crafts, microfinance and STEM education;
- Calabria (1), on the development of tourism enterprises;
- Campania (3), on innovation, ICT academies and support for pupils with disabilities;
- Emilia Romagna (1), on combating educational poverty;
- Friuli Venezia Giulia (4), on vocational training and university grants;
- Latium (6), on fair events, vocational training and social-work inclusion of young prisoners;
- Liguria (3), on energy efficiency and health care research, development, and training;
- Lombardy (4), on circular economy, technology transfer, inclusion of people with disabilities and employment support of NEETs;
- Marche (7), on research and technology transfer, audiovisual, education, equal opportunities;
- Autonomous Province of Trento (1), on adult education linguistics;
- Piedmont (2), on film production and higher technological education;
- Apulia (2), on biotechnology and disability;
- Sardinia (4), on energy efficiency, biodiversity, gender equality and socio-labor inclusion;
- Sicily (5), on business digitization, schools, public lighting and business support in training;
- Tuscany (7), on technology transfer, innovation and digital and ecological transition, cultural welfare in inland areas, historical memory, orientation, gender equality and European values;
- Umbria (2), on summer centers;
- Aosta Valley (1), on vocational education in health care;
- Veneto (1), on international trade fairs and tourism.
European calls 2025: territorial cooperation and NPs
The Interreg Italy-Malta program notice has been published, with 4 priorities: research and innovation, nature conservation, sustainable tourism and governance.
Within the National Security for Legality Program, the notice for Public Administrations, Public Bodies and Regional Level Bodies is open for projects in the area of digitization of public administration and public data.
European calls for proposals 2025: rural funds
August was also a break for calls funded by Rural Funds. However, five new calls were published in Basilicata (1), Lombardy (2), Marche (1) and Apulia (1) that fund different areas including support for new farmers, forestation of farmland, non-productive agricultural investments with an environmental purpose, and operation and management of Local Action Groups (LAGs).
